'A Better Planet, a Better World”,  held last Saturday April 6th, at St. Jean Theater, showcased a unique fusion of visual and performing arts, paying homage to nature, love, and the power of female energy. The Gala performance offered a captivating blend of dance and art inspired by the work of director, choreographer and dancer Analia Farfan,   inspired by, and featuring art from “A Better Planet, A Better World”, an art exhibit at the UN Headquarters by multimedia artist Alessandra Mattanza, now showing partly at the Permanent SDGs Mission of Italy to the United Nations.

Argentinian performer, Cathy Kaplan, was recently dancing atop a moving train, infusing every step with holiday cheer for delighted audiences. This was the scene during her last role on The Polar Express train ride experience in Perris, California. While the train itself is a beloved Christmas tradition, it was Cathy's presence, together with a great cast, that added such enchantment to the experience.

Barba, produced by Luis Salgado of Revolución Latina and choreographed by Valeria Cossu, has been acclaimed as a remarkable theatrical achievement. It was staged at the prestigious Pregones Theatre in The Bronx, venue that through the years had attracted notable figures such as  Barack Obama to witness its original performances.

Einstein on the Beach comes to Teatro Colon later this month. Performances run April 25-26, 2024.
